You can override the automatic advance to pause, advance, or return to a previous image using the intuitive controls in the slideshow. Note that you have to hover your cursor over each slide to see the controls. The advance and return arrows are very faint, so you have to look closely. The title of a painting is shown below it. The number of each slide out of the 43 is shown in the upper left corner.
