The birds prefer seven and then again at five
Sun flowers
A pile on each four by four
That’s right
Orange kitty eats on the rug near the door
(Dry, star shaped)
She’ll sleep on a chair in the dining room
If you have one
Then goes back out, after a while,
To her life

Now there’s Black n White and Fake Black n White
You can tell the difference by the look in their eyes,
and Fake Black n White has the spot

I feed them both, but one is SO wild

These trees
You’ll think they are messy but
See the blossoms,
As well as the seeds, and branches, and Spanish moss

I planted milk weed,
Floating wisps of seed
They are strong now

Do not assume that the citrus to the right of the fence is worthless
It was a Christmas tree once
Decorated
Crushed by a fence in a hurricane
Waiting two weeks for me
A tiny blossom on a branch
Of hope

I brought her here from Florida,
Near dead
See… the blossoms just beginning?
I know, she is no specimen.
Nothing your friends from the island will approve of

Squirrels … what can I say….

I slogged through Catholic college prep school. Studied : loom weaving, Exploring psychic phenomena, yoga during off time.

Fell in love with cooking. Turned Vegetarian, kept cooking.

Worked in the food industry, chef, cook.

Got into real estate sales, property management, remodeling.

Sheet rock mud and cake decorating can be similar.

Entrepreneur stuff.Bought and fixed up 2 dozen houses or more.

All the while writing: long letters, little stories, capturing memories. People said I should write more.

Almost all of my stories are drafts but for whatever reason inspired by this forum I thought I'd spend more time with this.

I've never been published, I've never tried.
