– for WKK

daylight a prism
of worry, night an eerie
chandelier of stars

my dream life
has you up, dressed
and walking

glint of resolve
air deprived and hidden
inside this verse

nail a sprig of logic
to your door — defy
the diagnosis

morning shimmer
whispers, you are still
in this world
