Artist’s Note: I decided to show some of the progression in the work and ideas I create, starting with some ink and paint sketch work and leading up to the end of the series with some final highly detailed and complete graphic Art.
The progression of this BLACK series was an attempt by me to show how you can go from fairly simple ways of using the inks and paints and other materials to very high quality and realism whilst still keeping the human being very much in focus .. myself as the artist and the subject of the artwork itself.
So, keep that in mind as you view the first few pieces .. the various images will get more detailed and complete as the series progresses.
