She screams at me
over the telephone
telling me
I’ll be responsible
for her death
somehow it’s
become my fault
that she keeps
her crack
in a suitcase
under the stairs
he screams at me
because the doctor
tried to call him twice
and somehow it’s
become my fault
that he is 62 years old
and has an ear infection
meanwhile
I’m thinking
I might
borrow my brother’s
Samurai sword
although it does
need some sharpening
