is the day I find the wolves
you can count on that.

I will follow along
the s-curve of your path,

the one that pings
my search image

and has me jumping
sideways to avoid the sting.

Tomorrow the sky may be
empty but wild dogs

still circle and sleep beneath
our crime scene of song.
