That make us feel as if we’ve been
punched in the stomach, bludgeoned
over the head, had our arms ripped off,
our toes plucked out, skulls smashed
with a shovel, eyes gouged out
with rusty spoons, cheeks
eaten away by rabid raccoons,
teeth pried out by ugly peasants,
skin ravaged by skin-ravagers,
hair straightened by inept
hair-straighteners, elbows
endowed by mad elbow-endowers,
knees capped by pissed-off
knee-cappers, ankles ignored
by ankle-ignorers, thick thighs
enraged by thick-thigh enragers,
anals ignored by anal ignorers,
intestines entwined by intestine entwiners,
livers destroyed by liver destroyers,
Pylorics haunted by oysters and garlic,
armpits amused by underwear seances,
neck-thrusts confused by financial statements,
earlobes encrusted with sea-foam imbibements,
small spoons entrapped by small-spoon entrappers,
black teeth forgotten by black-teeth forgeters,
amydalae squeezed by two-handed hijacks,
fingertips frozen by ice-capped medallions,
backs of hands marked up by worm-like vein/arteries,
chest hairs embraced by aging conflations,
knee-skins erased by chilhood rebellions,
first-kissed emollients re-lived forever,
worm-casing Sundays discovered at once,
unblooded face-slaps poured out in rain,
amazing children peeing on bugs,
nasty old trees dying faster than rain,
bicycles, tricycles, never no unicorns,
devaste tulips kissing crushed aneurysms,
embarrassed saviors, penitent acorns,
de-legged fathers, un-de-veined mothers,
crushed western sunsets, why-not whatevers,
coming-home innocence, withering cold nevers,
hard lemon excrements, delicate night-books,
lightning not lightenings. No simultaneous
submissions or previously published
work accepted.

Good luck!
