A dried booger fell
from my left nostril
as I asked the cashier for 2 lottery tickets
I saw it
she saw it
I saw that she saw it
she saw that I saw that she saw it
she handed me the tickets
I handed her the cash
I turned for the door
there was nothing else that needed saying
but then she said, “You forgot your receipt”
