The full moon
was staring at me.

I felt it in Braille.
Thousands

of little raised dots
erupted on my skin.

I lifted my hand
to wave hello

& found it fisted
inside a puppet

that had a voice
of its own.

What they talked
about went in

one ear
& out the other
