It’s quite comforting to know that I wake up on 100% of the days that I’m alive

and odds of fighting for yet another day
are higher than burying myself
under a pile of comforters.

I brush my teeth with Colgate
as I brush away the overnight slumber,
use Medi-mix soap to wash the dust
settled in the crevices of my brain,
apply Fog deodorant to clear the fog
of uncertainties in my head,
Cow milk and honey is my ammunition,
Corn flakes is my nutrition, soaked almonds sharpen
my brain and Red Label tea fuels my day.

I am pretty sure that even if I don’t kill it today, I will surely survive…
