During the period of creating the Agnosia photographic series, I was inspired by visual agnosia. Visual agnosis is a disorder of knowing familiar things and their meaning, people, or spatial relationships. A person suffering from visual agnosia cannot recognize subjects with his own eyes or define inanimate objects around him. Since I was only inspired by the disorder, the essence of the photos is not to capture the real consequences of the disorder. I expressed visual impairment in the context of fine arts, where we can perceive it as detached from its essence.
