Morning Sketch, 39, Rain

Morning Sketch, 39, Rain

Felix was passing
a meager trickle
and waited
for a stronger stream

a cold wind blew
he let out a sigh
and straightened
his tired legs

twisted the nozzle
and decided
to roll up his hose
and go inside

gardening had taught
the rhythm of nature
in the chapel of soul
of his silent history

and thought himself
a child of the woods
all the time in the world
just pissing in the wind
