when the bombs drop
I will catch them
then fasten them with love poems
and my wife will attach her recipe
for homemade nutter butters
and even Scurry will spare some of his catnip
and tape it to the side of the bombs with his paw
then I will give them their bombs back
with all these little presents
and they won’t want to kill us anymore
