Artist’s statement: This digital art is a photomanipulation consisting of about 50 photographs and some hand (digitally) painted elements, then overpainted (digitally). This was made in Photoshop. There was no AI assistance or elements used in the composition (it was made before that was a thing). The Three Sisters are all shots of the same model. My intent was to examine how a person can react to the same adversity depending on their emotional state or mood. It accompanies a short story about a schizophrenic seamstress.
