Open Arts Forum welcomes poetry submissions from established and emerging poets. There is no submission fee. Poems are submitted through the OAF members’ forum, where they can also receive thoughtful feedback from other writers before or alongside editorial consideration.
How to submit poetry to Open Arts Forum
- Create a free OAF account if you are not already a member.
- Post your poem in the appropriate poetry submission area of the forum.
- OAF editors review submissions for possible publication on the public site.
No cover letter or formal manuscript formatting is required. See the full submission guidelines for details on simultaneous submissions, previously published work, rights, and editorial consideration.
Private workshop, public publication
Poetry posted in the submission forum is visible only to registered members and editors, not to the public or search engines. If OAF selects a poem for publication, it is published separately on the public site.

OAF is not only a submission portal. The Poetry Forum & Community is a working space where poets read one another, discuss craft, and exchange substantive feedback.
