Here's a new forum I created recently. This one is totally open to the public and focuses more on the forum than trying to be a full-blown magazine with a forum as a submission engine:

    https://openpoetryforum.com/

Please join and test it out, give me your ideas, and help me develop it. Everything is in the early stage, including look and logo, but content is king, so I'll see whether anyone likes the idea before pushing on with it.

    Thanks.

I’ve applied this morning, but no confirmation email. Will try again.

    Resent email, still no luck.

Just sent a test message to myself: my email is working. Sorry to be a pest. Email is the same as for OAF. Please send me a PM here if you need it. Thank you.

Does OPF accept new Members who are over the age of 75?

I think I don't understand it well yet. I saw all the messages seep in but mundane changes scare me. Ha! Is the idea to post here next to OAF, or instead? And the forum part is accessible without account? It's more user friendly? I really love OAF.

Not sure what the difference is? I signed up... is OAF going away? If so, please a heads up so I can copy a zillion things (why I would do such a thing is unclear...)

OAF is staying as it is. I was just playing with the idea of having a forum that's visible to guests as well as members. We've got that here at OAF now with the "open" boards, but the minimalist in me worries that a "members only" and "open" section on one forum will be confusing. Don't worry. I'll figure it out.

Not at all. The new site is just an experiment. It may or may not success. This one has the traction in search engines. That's clear.

Hmm. I will have to put this question to the committee. ;) :D
